Dr. Jim Davis grew up in the small town of Carmen, Oklahoma. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Science from Northwestern Oklahoma State then moved on to study at the University of Houston College of Optometry. Where he received his Doctor of Optometry in 1971. Dr. Davis began practicing Optometry in Alva, Oklahoma for 17 years before moving to Cape Girardeau, Missouri where he practiced for another 15 years. Dr. Davis moved to Texas in 2003, where he opened Jim L Davis O.D. and Associates in Killeen and practiced for 17 years before recently selling his practice. Dr. Davis is a member of Fellows of American Academy of Optometry, as well as a member of the American Optometric Association and Texas Optometric Association.
